Therapy Services

Therapy is a helpful journey for exploring your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. Working with me provides a chance for self-discovery and growth.

  • How I work

It's true when they say that no two therapists are the same.

Thank you for taking the time to see if my offer feels right for you at this time. Those who are looking for a compassionate, humble yet highly skilled therapist, are likely to find me a good fit. I bring a professional and personal understanding to trauma, neurodiversity, race and intergenerational issues, physical illness and being a woman.

  • My approach is informed by training and practice in the following areas:

EMDR Practitioner training - EMDR Works training academy (2024)

    BABCP accredited Psychotherapist (2020)

Post Graduate Diploma - High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (with distinction) University of Birmingham (2020)

BAMBA accredited Mindfulness based cognitive therapist teacher (2024)

Mindfulness based cognitive therapy teacher training - University of Nottingham - 2024.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy training - Cardiff University - 2020

Psychotherapeutic approaches to long term physical health conditions training -Staffordshire University - 2021

  • After 25 years working in NHS and social care mental health services, I’ve come to really value the power of having a safe space to talk about the things we often keep hidden. I believe in working at your pace, supporting you to make sense of what’s happened in your life, and to grow in ways that feel right for you.

I choose to offer therapy privately because I believe people should be able to access support at the time they need it, for as long as they need it, with approaches that focus on keeping them well, both now and in the future.

  • I work with you to explore how you see yourself, and why. We all view ourselves through different lenses, shaped by our families, roles, culture, health, and life experiences. These lenses can cloud how we understand our worth, identity, or needs.

Whether you’re navigating neurodivergence, health issues, or the many roles you hold, such as carer, parent, partner, or professional, I offer a compassionate space to unpack how these influences, alongside your past, have shaped your self-view. Together, we gently challenge unhelpful labels and rebuild a perspective rooted in self-acceptance, compassion, and clarity.

My approach is grounded in NHS training but intentionally non-traditional, human, curious, and creative. My goal is to help you reclaim a sense of ease in yourself that can ripple into all areas of your life.

  • I'm a second-generation British Indian middle-aged female. I was raised in a working-class home in Wolverhampton. I am a parent of three children, a golden retriever, and a cat. They have taught me (sometimes the hard way), to be the best version of myself. I am still learning how many of life’s moments are a blessing, particularly those that are difficult. These have often taught me the most about my sense of vulnerability and strength.

My own self care is supported by walking with my dog and friends, meditating, going to the gym and cooking food.
